Slúchadlo #1: Adam Križovenský — Naslúchaj

Naslúchaj vychádza z jednoduchého elementu: dýchania. Dielo vyzýva k spomaleniu a vedomému návratu k prítomnosti. V tichu, cez znenie dýchania, sa otvára priestor na vnímanie najmenších, často prehliadaných zvukov, ktoré nás obklopujú. Slúchadlo, zapája poslucháča do diela a premieňa jeho vlastný dych, pohyb či reakciu na súčasť zvukovej štruktúry. Kompozícia tak vytvára kruh pozornosti medzi autorom, poslucháčom a prostredím, v ktorom sa hranice medzi tvorcom a divákom postupne strácajú.

Adam Križovenský je študentom Akadémie výtvarných umení v Prahe. Vo svojej tvorbe sa zameriava na rozvíjanie spontánnosti a intuitívneho prístupu k umeniu, pričom systematicky rozširuje svoje výrazové možnosti naprieč rôznymi médiami. Venuje sa širokému spektru činností, od grafiky, maľby a sochárstva až po hudbu, skateboarding a tetovanie. Dôležitým momentom v jeho tvorbe bolo expandovanie záujmu za hranice pôsobenia v kapelách ku zvuku ako médiu samotnému.

“Naslúchaj” (listen carefully) is based on a simple element: breathing. The composition invites us to slow down and consciously return to the present. In silence, through the sound of breathing, space opens up for the perception of the smallest, often overlooked sounds that surround us. Slúchadlo engages the listener into the work and transforms their own breath, movement, or reaction into part of the sound structure. The composition creates a circle of attention between the author, the listener, and the environment, in which the boundaries between the creator and the viewer gradually disappear.

Adam Križovenský is a student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. In his work, he focuses on developing spontaneity and an intuitive approach to art, while systematically expanding his expressive possibilities across various media. He engages in a wide spectrum of activities, from graphics, painting, and sculpture to music, skateboarding, and tattooing. An important moment in his work was the expansion of his interest beyond performing in bands to sound as a medium itself.
