Slúchadlo #1: Adam Križovenský — Naslúchaj

"Naslúchaj" (listen carefully) is based on a simple element: breathing. The composition invites us to slow down and consciously return to the present. In silence, through the sound of breathing, space opens up for the perception of the smallest, often overlooked sounds that surround us. Slúchadlo engages the listener into the work and transforms their own breath, movement, or reaction into part of the sound structure. The composition creates a circle of attention between the author, the listener, and the environment, in which the boundaries between the creator and the viewer gradually disappear.

Adam Križovenský is a student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. In his work, he focuses on developing spontaneity and an intuitive approach to art, while systematically expanding his expressive possibilities across various media. He engages in a wide spectrum of activities, from graphics, painting, and sculpture to music, skateboarding, and tattooing. An important moment in his work was the expansion of his interest beyond performing in bands to sound as a medium itself.
