- 20:00 Ayaji
- 20:45 Sabiwa
V rámci Mikrozvuku #47 sa predstavia Sabiwa a Liew Niyomkarn.
Sabiwa:
Sabiwa je experimentálna a audiovizuálna umelkyňa z Taiwanu. Vo svojich kompozíciách procesuje a dekonštruuje zdrojový materiál do takej miery, až sa stáva nerozpoznateľným, čo vedie k hypnotizujúcim a transcendentálnym zvukovým zážitkom. Inšpiruje sa starovekou hudbou, pracuje s terénnymi nahrávkami a hlasom, pričom čerpá z hudobných tradícií domorodých kmeňov Taiwanu. Výsledkom je pozoruhodný psychedelický príbeh plný bizarných prírodných a syntetických zvukových textúr. Jej živé vystúpenia sa pohybujú niekde na pomedzí A/V show, zvukovej inštalácie a body performance. Minulý rok vydala oceňovaný album Island no.16 – Memories of Future Landscapes, s ktorým vystúpila napríklad na festivale CTM. Domovom jej albumov sú vydavateľstvá Chinabot a Phantom Limb.
Ayaji:
Základ zvukových plôch tvoria tibetské misy, gong, drumbľa, ústna harmonika a listová hrkálka.
Mikrozvuk #47 will feature musicians Raphael Rogiński and Liew Niyomkarn.
Sabiwa:
Sabiwa is an experimental audiovisual performer. In her compositions, she manipulates and fragments the source material to the point of it becoming unrecognizable, leading to mesmerizing and transcendental new dimensions of sound. Drawing inspiration from ancient music that imitates nature, she incorporates her own voice, drawing from the musical traditions of the native tribes of Taiwan, resulting in a remarkable psychedelic narrative. She collaborates with numerous forward-thinking artists and musicians. Her live performances encompass various formats, including Live A/V shows with single or multi-projections, installations, and body performances.
Ayaji:
Ayaji is a sound relaxation helmsman from Bratislava. In his acoustic sets he combines metal and percussive instruments, which with their gradually changing dynamics create different stories of sensations, associations or memories. The intensity and spatiality of the sound vibrations, which can be perceived with the whole body, help to relax and add another dimension of deep listening. Tibetan bowls, gong, drum, mouth harmonica and leaf rattle form the basis of the sound surfaces.
